ex-mat logoThe Housekeeping in hazardous locations/areas and the implementation of the EHSR (Essential Health & Safety Requirements)

The scope of our mission BEGINS ……….. where the standards STOP in regards to recovering the following:

GUARANTEE OF THE MANUFACTURER

EX-MAT RECOVERY: A GUARANTEE FROM THE MANUFACTURER MUST BE REQUESTED TO ENSURE THAT A VACUUM CLEANER IS DESIGNED TO SAFELY RECOVER COMBUSTIBLE / FLAMMABLE MATERIAL. THIS GUARANTEE MUST BE SPECIFIED IN THE OWNERS INSTRUCTION MANUAL.

Attention!! - Since "cloud of dust" is not defi ned, the (NFPA) National Fire Protection Agency warns that more than 0.8mm of combustible dust laying on 5% of the fl oor of a room is considered a threat of explosion.

TO BE QUALIFIED AS A MANUFACTURER FOR EX-MAT RECOVERY THE MANUFACTURER MUST PRODUCE VACUUM CLEANERS OR DUST COLLECTORS CERTIFIED BY A NOTIFIED BODY (INDEPENDENT ACCREDITED TESTING LAB).
